WELCOME!!!!! This blog has been created as a little pick-me up, to help give inspiration to perspective wives and mothers, as well as for women who are already a wife and mother. I will post five days out of the week, and each day will have it's own theme - I will try my best to make a daily post pertaining to that theme.
Monday's- ME DAY!!!! Monday's are generally a hard day for most people because its the day where your week is starting back up again and it really does set the tone for the rest of your week. Often times as women we over book ourselves and get caught up in serving our family while juggling errands, work, volunteering, being a chauffeur and attending to church callings (I'm not saying that any of these things are bad, because they are some of the best things we can be doing!)- that we don't take the needed time to focus on ourselves and our own happiness. So, the new Monday challenge is to set aside some time for yourself to help get you ready for the upcoming week. Whether you take the whole day or just 5 minutes, focus on yourself and rejuvenating your spirit.
Tuesday's- WHO AM I??? On Tuesday's I am going to focus on the many roles of a woman, wife and mother. We each have such a great great worth and play such a key role in just about EVERYTHING! But we sometimes forget our worth and just who exactly we are. Tuesday's will be a day to focus on who God wants us to be.
Wednesday's- HEALTH WEDNESDAYS!!!!! Fitness is something many of us tend to just role our eyes at and push aside. You may use excuses like, "Well I just don't have the time for it," or "By the time I have made time to exercise I have no energy." But let me tell you, exercise can be apart of your everyday life!!!! If you make time to take care of your body then the Lord will make time in your day to take care of your needs. But for those women who just physically cannot fit it into your everyday routine then set goals to workout once or twice a week, or while cutting onions for dinner do leg lifts! Together we will find ways to add exercise into your life so that you feel better about yourself and in the long run you will have more energy! Trust me on this one, it will be fun :)
Thursday's- THURSDAY THOUGHTS!!!!!- Thursday's will be a day to drawn upon a highlighted conference talk, BYU devotional or a women's article. I will choose a talk or article and give you my thoughts and examples of how we can adapt the key points into our own lives so that in the end we can have more enriching and spiritual lives.
Friday- FOOD FRIDAY'S!!!!!!- I Love food! I do, its a well known fact. I love to shop for food and look at all of the yummy choices, I love cooking food and preparing it in new fun ways. I love to watch people eat my food and see their reactions, and I LOVE EATING!!!! I just have to keep reminding myself though- everything in moderation. So every Friday I will introduce a new and fun recipe, whether its an old family favorite or something new I have just tried. And maybe some of my favorites will become your favorites and bring a smile to your face :)
